Description: Adhesive label "594," probably an old collection number.
Pencil markings on the boys' bodies.
Patinated terracotta on a round, gilded wooden base.
Executed with exceptional fineness and attention to detail, these most likely served as models for an important silver work—presumably by Salière—during the Régence period.
