Possibly purchased by Charles Annoot, 16 Old Bond Street, July 1863, 'to a small, old marquetry chest of drawers surrounded by doors' (£40) from Sir Henry Hope Edwardes, Bt., Wootton Hall, Derbyshire, and by inheritance to Lt. Col. Herbert James Hope-Edwardes, Netley Hall, Shropshire, and by inheritance to Lady More (née Hope-Edwardes, formerly, Coldwell) of Netley Hall, and subsequently Linley Hall, Shropshire, by inheritance.
