Rare black lacquer snuffbox with gold painting France, circa 1765 Copper gilt with mounted lacquer.
Unmarked
Rectangular, covered on all sides with lacquered panels featuring a bold zigzag pattern around circular floral ornaments. The fittings are chiseled with filiage, the corners are chiseled as columns and decorated with a foliate band.
