Description: An Italian 18th century, most certainly Naples, tortoiseshell and gold piqué snuff box, the ribbed rectangular box with shaped and engraved thumb-piece, decorated with piqué inlay of a village landscape within vine leaf scrolling borders, in a leather case. 
Size of tortoiseshell and piqué box: 7cm wide, 5.5cm deep, 3.5cm high
