Blaise Millet
Blaise Millet (1829–1906) founded Maison Millet, a Parisian furniture and bronze firm later continued by his son Théodore. Rather than a sculptor, he is associated with exhibition-quality revival furniture in Louis XV and Louis XVI styles, using fine marquetry, ormolu mounts and historic models, including prestigious commissions and replicas for elite nineteenth-century interiors.
