Pierre Macret obtained the certification of "privileged merchant of the king following the court" in 1756. From 1764 to 1771, he was "ordinary supplier of pleasure menus to the king." Thanks to his successful work, he was able to open a shop on Rue Saint-Honoré in 1771 as a merchant.
