Johann Jacob Kieser
Johann Jacob Christoph Kieser (1734–1786) was an electoral court ébéniste in Mannheim, not a scientific illustrator. His refined secretaries and salon furniture stand between late Baroque curves and emerging Classicism. Veneered surfaces, restrained marquetry, concealed fittings and medallion-shaped gilt-bronze mounts show the disciplined luxury of Mannheim furniture for princely interiors around 1760.
