Description: Made of cream-colored, heavily gray-veined marble, it features a square base with a fluted, rounded foot. The vase body is diagonally gadrooned in the lower section, above which is a wide ornamental band with palmette decoration. Rams' heads are on the sides. The covers are not removable, but chiseled into the vase, with a floral finial at the end. The form and decoration are strongly influenced by ancient Roman models.
