Rosewood, satinwood veneered on an oak body. Floral marquetry in "bois de bout" on the frame and the shelf. Fine maple thread inlays on the frame, the shelf and the fillets of the legs. Round body standing on three slightly curved legs with fluting on three sides. Drawer set into the frame. Shelf between the legs, framed by an openwork brass gallery. Fine fire-gilt bronze mounts on the drawer and the frame. Feet of the legs fitted with fire-gilt bronze shoes. Grey and white marble top, framed by an openwork brass gallery.
