Gilded and black patinated bronze, later whistle
Octagonal base on barrel feet with putti as merchants in relief. On top, a standing figure rests on packaging with an embedded clockwork, next to an anchor, barrel, and paddle, the attributes of trade. The clock corresponds to a drawing in the album Le 30 of the Bibliothèque nationale de Paris, inscribed "Michel, no. 120 aoust 1808 du depot legal.
