Description: Attributed to Christoph Hopfengärtner (1758-1843)

Solid cherrywood. Trapezoidal seat, straight, profiled frame with cube joints at the corners. Rectangular, curved backrest that transitions into saber legs. The front legs are round and fluted. Red fabric in a jacquard patterned "basketweave" style, the pattern dates back to Goethe's time.

Seat height = 44 cm
