Rosewood, amaranth and ebony, veneered and solid. Rectangular, beaded and swivelling top. One side covered in very fine gold-embossed leather, the reverse featuring a backgammon board and decorative panels on the sides. The top closes via a side-mounted pressure mechanism. Inside, a beautifully inlaid backgammon board and further decorative panels on the sides. The wavy-cut frame features two drawers. Inside the left-hand drawer, signed by the master and bearing the guild mark. Curved legs in sabots. Very fine, gilded and chiselled fittings.
