Description: Richard Bloos worked extensively in France during the 20th century. Inspired by the Parisian street scenes depicted during the Impressionist period, he often stayed in the popular, artistic areas of Montmartre and Montparnasse. He exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants from 1909 to 1910. He exhibited portraits and figurative subjects at the Salon d'Automne from 1909 to 1913. He also exhibited genre and landscape paintings of Paris at the Salon de la Sociéte Nationale des Beaux-Arts from 1910 to 1914.
